The information sessionon voting for U.S. citizens, originally scheduled for February 27,has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at 2 p.m.  As previously advised, the session will be held at the U.S. Consulate General in São Paulo at Rua Henri Dunant, 500 in Santo Amaro.  At the session, Mr. Nathan DuBois of the Federal Voting Assistance Program will give a presentation and answer questions on how U.S. citizens can vote from overseas.  The session will be in English.  Because space is limited, individuals who wish to attend must send an email to SaoPauloACS@state.gov no later than Thursday, April 12, to RSVP.  To ensure access to the consulate, the email must include the full name and ID information of each individual attending.  Individuals who RSVP will receive a confirmation email.  An RSVP is required to attend and participants must present government-issued photo identification to gain entry. The Federal Voting Assistance Program’s website is available at https://www.fvap.gov/.

This site provides guidance to overseas voters and includes an Online Assistant which allows voters to register, request an absentee ballot, and update their voter information. Please note that the information session on April 17 will be dedicated solely to voting.  For information about other American Citizen Services we provide and to schedule an appointment, please visit https://br.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/.
