Women from 24 states and the Federal District will participate in a four-month course.
Brasilia, June 20, 2023 – The U.S. Embassy and Consulates, in partnership with the +Unidos Group, announced on June 20 the list of the 90 women selected for the third edition of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE 3.0) – a program of the U.S. Department of State aimed at women entrepreneurs seeking opportunities to strengthen and leverage their businesses. The selected applicants represent 24 Brazilian states and the Federal District. The four-month program is scheduled to begin June 26 of this year.
AWE will offer the women entrepreneurs training focused on economic potential and creating conditions for greater stability, security, and prosperity for their businesses.

The program is based on resources from the 100 Million People Impacted course: Global Intensive Course in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. AWE is a Global Women’s Development and Prosperity initiative, sponsored by the White House, which aims to benefit 50 million women by 2025.
