American Presence Officer in Belo Horizonte Rita Rico welcomed the public to the American Day cultural and sports event held outside Belo Horizonte’s Mineirão stadium. The event was covered by local TV Globo Minas. American Day was co-sponsored by the American Presence Post in Belo Horizonte. The event took place in advance of the inaugural Brazil vs. Argentina American football match, televised live on ESPN.
