The U.S. Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro invites proposals that strengthen ties between the United States and Brazil, through cultural, exchange, and education programs that highlight shared values and promote bilateral cooperation.
This Annual Program Statement focuses exclusively on the Rio de Janeiro Consular District, which includes the states of Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, and Bahia only. Programs focused on other areas of Brazil are not eligible under this Annual Program Statement. U.S. entities, with the geographic focus noted above, are eligible to apply independently or as a partner to a Brazilian organization.
