U.S. Consulate São Paulo
The U.S. Consulate in Sao Paulo is pleased to announce an information session on voting for American citizens, scheduled for Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 2 p.m. The information session will be held at the U.S. Consulate General in Sao Paulo at Rua Henri Dunant 500 in Santo Amaro. At the session, Mr. Scott Wiedemann of the Federal Voting Assistance Program will give a presentation and answer questions on how American citizens can vote from overseas. The session will be in English. Because space is limited, individuals who wish to attend must send an email toSaoPauloACS@state.gov no later than Friday, April 1. To ensure access to the consulate, the email must include the full name and CPF or ID information of each individual attending. Individuals who RSVP will receive a confirmation email. An RSVP is required to attend and participants must present a government issued photo identification to gain entry.
As always, we strongly recommend that U.S. citizens traveling to and/or residing in Brazil enroll in the Department of State’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) at www.Travel.State.gov. By enrolling in STEP, you will receive the latest security updates. It also makes it easier for the U.S. embassy or nearest U.S. consulate to contact you in an emergency.
