Ambassador Sales will recap a landmark ministerial conference on counterterrorism focused on the Western Hemisphere and hosted by the Department of State. He will discuss the threat that transnational terrorist groups, including ISIS, al-Qa’ida, and Lebanese Hizballah pose to the collective security and safety of citizens from countries across the Western Hemisphere.
