This is the first time a Brazilian President visits the Command
President Jair Bolsonaro will take part in a historic visit to the headquarters of the U.S. Southern Command on March 8. President Bolsonaro will meet with U.S. Navy Adm. Craig Faller, as well as other command and Department of Defense leaders to discuss the growing defense-cooperation partnership between Brazil and the U.S.
During the visit, representatives of the U.S. Department of Defense and the Brazilian Ministry of Defense will sign a bilateral Agreement on Research Development, Test, and Evaluation Projects that will expand opportunities for both countries to collaborate and share information on the development of new defense capabilities. President Bolsonaro and Admiral Faller will make statements to the press after the visit.
