Scholarship program registration will open on November 17
Brasilia, November 10, 2021: The Academic Opportunities Program, supported by the U.S. Department of State, celebrates its 15th anniversary in Brazil this year, and during this period has benefited hundreds of students. The program aims to support qualified students from families with limited financial resources in the application process for undergraduate and graduate programs in the United States. The principal aim of the program is to help participants receive scholarships from U.S. universities, and is offered through the EducationUSA network, a State Department network to guide and track those interested in studying in the U.S.
The program provides academic follow-up throughout the application process and covers the costs of the university applications, including: study materials, registration fees for the required exams, transportation and accommodation when necessary to take required exams, university application fees, and translation and submission of documents. Registration for the program for potential undergraduate students is open from 17/11/2021 to 10/01/2022.
In its latest edition, the participants in the program were accepted into universities such as Dartmouth College, Duke University, Harvard University, Minerva KGI, Northwestern University, Stetson University and Villanova University.
