Photography, Essay and Graphic Design Contest
The Regional Environment Office for South America sharing the environmentalist spirit that warming up with the proximity of the COP20, invites all 18-year-old students, from universities and higher education institutes, living in South America (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Equador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela) to submit their reflections on sustainable cities, renewable and clean energies, forests and biodiversity, oceans and water conservation, within the context of climate change.
We have three categories:
- Photographic series (a series of 3 to 5 photos)
- Academic essay (an essay between 1000 and 1200 words. It could be in Spanish, English or Portuguese)
- Graphic Design (a 1200×450 pix Facebook banner)
Schedule: Work reception will start on November 1 and will close automatically at midnight of November 25 (Lima time). Results will be announced on November 30, 2014.
Prizes: One Acer ICONIA TAB A200 Tablet for each category.
All entries (photos, essays, banners) must be submitted to REO_SouthAmerica@state.gov.
