Registration for English language support program for teachers is open

The Roadmap for  English Learning aims to serve 200 English teachers from the public school system and is open for registration until October 30

Registrations are open for the Roadmap for English Learning, a program that assists English teachers from the public school system in the learning roadmap, providing guidance and support to facilitate the learning process in language proficiency. Public school teachers interested in participating in the first phase of the project can register by October 30 through Instagram (@roadmap.english.learning). The program will take place from November 8 to December 10, 2021.

The Roadmap  for  English  Learning, a concept developed by Professor Climene  Arruda, from the Faculty of Letters (Fale) of Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), aims to serve 200 English teachers from the public school system and their respective students. Teachers who participate can later implement the guidance in their own classrooms. The U.S. Embassy and Consulates of the United States in Brazil, through the Regional Office of English Language (RELO-Brazil), supports the project.

To participate in the program, applicants must have a basic level of English (A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). In the first phase of the project, participants will be observed by future teachers in training under the supervision of the program instructor. The program will be held 100% virtually, through YouTube, Instagram and WhatsApp groups, so that participants can exchange experiences with each other and with the advisors.
