In the first half of 2014, the United States Diplomatic Mission to Brazil processed nearly half a million visas. Recife continues to show the most growth with a nineteen percent rise in demand over the same period in 2013. Each month, the U.S. Mission releases consular workload statistics to the Brazilian public.
