Treasury Under Secretary Sheets to Visit Brazil

The U.S. Department of the Treasury today announced that Under Secretary for International Affairs Nathan Sheets is traveling this week to Brazil. While in Brazil, he will visit the cities of Recife, São Paulo, and Brasília. The visit will include a meeting of the “U.S.-Brazil Economic and Financial Dialogue,” a bilateral forum led by the Treasury Department and the Brazilian Ministry of Finance, which seeks to advance our close partnership on a range of critical shared issues, including economic growth and prosperity. In the context of this visit, Under Secretary Sheets will meet with senior government officials from Brazil’s finance ministry, central bank, and planning ministry.
