U.S. Ambassador to Travel to the U.S. West Coast to Promote Trade between Brazil and United States

U.S. Ambassador to Brazil Liliana Ayalde will travel to San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles, California from March 2-6, 2015 for meetings with local and state government officials, U.S. business leaders, representatives of business associations, non-governmental organizations and think tanks, and students and academics.  The objective of Ambassador Ayalde’s U.S. West Coast trip is to foster economic growth by discussing trade opportunities and encouraging innovative partnerships between U.S. and Brazilian companies and organizations aimed at expanding investment and trade and creating new jobs and new opportunities in both nations.

In addition to meeting with U.S. companies and business associations interested in doing business and expanding ties with Brazil, Ambassador Ayalde will tour facilities in Silicon Valley, speak with U.S. women business leaders, and meet with Brazilian Scientific Mobility Program students who are studying in California universities.
