The U.S. Consulate General in Porto Alegre invites proposals that strengthen ties between the United States and Brazil, through cultural, exchange, and education programs that highlight shared values and promote bilateral cooperation.
This Annual Program Statement focuses exclusively on the Porto Alegre Consular District, which includes the states of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina only. Programs focused on other areas of Brazil are not eligible under this Annual Program Statement but may be eligible for funding opportunities from other U.S. Consulates or offices in Brazil. U.S. entities, with the geographic focus noted above, are eligible to apply independently or as a partner to a Brazilian organization.
This notice is subject to availability of funds. The Consulate expects to make awards from $2,000 – $20,000 and makes no guarantee that any funds will be awarded under this Annual Program Statement.
