Proposals from institutions in Minas Gerais will be accepted until June 1, 2021
Belo Horizonte, March 11, 2021: Organizations from Minas Gerais can apply for funding from the U.S. government for the implementation of projects in the areas of education, environmental cooperation, economic growth, social issues such as inclusion, diversity and human rights, and cultural projects. More detailed information is available in the Public Affairs Section Annual Program Statement for FY 2021, posted by the U.S. Embassy Branch Office in Belo Horizonte on the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Brazil website.
Those interested in applying are invited to join a Zoom webinar to learn more about how to apply for USG funds. The webinar is free and will be held on March 31, at 4:00 p.m. To participate, guests should register on this link, answer the required fields and then click to submit their information.
The Annual Program Statement outlines program priorities and themes for this year. This document also outlines specific procedures for submitting funding proposals. The U.S. Embassy Branch Office in BH invites proposals that strengthen ties between the United States and Brazil, through cultural, exchange, and education programs that highlight shared values and promote bilateral cooperation.

Proposals will be accepted until the deadline of June 1, 2021. Applicants will be notified whether or not their proposal has been selected by the review panel by June 28, 2021.
