The Fulbright Commission publishes several opportunities for teachers, researchers and professionals in the USA for 2017
The Fulbright Commission in Brazil is offering new scholarship opportunities for Brazilian teachers and researchers in various fields. The benefits will be granted under the US government’s Educational and Cultural Exchange Program and aim to increase understanding between the American society and those in other countries. Applicants for any of the places must be fluent in English. The scholarship opportunities are available at the Fulbright website: www.fulbright.org.br .

Program: Dr. Ruth Cardoso Chair in teaching and research in Social Sciences at Columbia University in New York, co-sponsored by CAPES / MEC and FAPESP.

The Fulbright Commission began in Brazil in 1957 and has benefited over 3,500 Brazilians. The Fulbright program was created in 1946 in the US and is considered to be the premier educational exchange program sponsored by the US government and aims to increase mutual understanding between the US people and other countries through the exchange of people, ideas and talents.
